HISTORY

1962 - FEBRUARY the 20th : By seeing our planet through the porthole of JOHN GLENN’S ‘Friend-

ship Seven’ space craft, bie baldwin el bio decided to follow his dreams and transform our planet

‘Earth’ into a world - embracing and universal work of art called ‘THE UNIVERSAL SPACE LINK’ in

order to emphasize its vulnerability.

IN THE MIDDLE OF THE THREE OCENS AND AT THE NORTH AND THE SOUTH POLE

Creation and installment of the 5 MONUMENTAL ‘CRYSTAL SPACE LINKS’ at 5 of the

most important historic - o - cultural sites. Each ‘SPACE LINK’ containing a sample of water /

ice collected at of the top of the 8 highest mountains, in the center of the 3 oceans and on

the North and the South Pole, in order to emphasize the vulnerability of our planet ‘EARTH’.

Cultural sites of GIZEH / AFRICA, TEOTIHUACAN / AMERICA, FUJIYAMA / ASIA, ULURU/AUSTRALIA,

And THE ACROPOLIS of ATHENS / EUROPE).

1990 - 1992 : Capturing the fire of the sun.

1992 : Creation of the 13 ‘CRYSTAL SPACE LINKS’, the symbol of the fusion of the fire of the

stars and the sand of the planets, by merging the sand of the five historico - cultural sites with fire

captured from the sun with a parabolic mirror.

1992 - 2002 : Installment of the 13 ‘CRYSTAL SPACE LINKS’ - the 13 parts of the ‘UNIVERSAL SPACE LINK’ -

on top of Mnt ELBRUS / EASTERN EUROPE, Mnt VINSON / ANTARCTICA, Mnt KILIMANJARO / AFRICA,

Mnt ACONCAGUA / SOUTH AMERICA, Mont BLANC / WESTERN EUROPE, Mnt EVEREST / ASIA, CARSTENSZ

PYRAMID / OCEANIA and Mnt McKINLEY / NORTH AMERICA. In the middle of THE ATLANTIC OCEAN, THE

PACIFIC OCEAN and THE INDIAN OCEAN and at THE NORTH - POLE and THE SOUTH - POLE, in order to

emphasize the vulnarability of our planet. The 13 crystal spheres forming a symbolic link between all races and

cultures. 13 works of art standing for the materialization of our hope that, one day, our planet ‘Earth’ may return

to its original, ‘crystal clear’ condition.

THE UNIVERSAL SPACE LINK is a world - embracing, interplanetary and universal ARTISTIC PROJECT that emphasizes the vulnerability of our planet earth by bringing the different parts of the project ( THE 13 CRYSTAL SPACE LINKS, made by the FUSION of the SAND of the 5 continents - [ GIZEH / AFRICA - TEOTIHUACAN / AMERICA - ULURU / AUSTALIA - FUJIYAMA / ASIA - ACROPOLIS / EUROPE ] - and the FIRE of the SUN) to the TOP of the 8 HIGHEST MOUNTAINS, to the CENTER of the 3 OCEANS, to the NORTH and the SOUTH POLE, and ( the digitalized version of ‘THE UNIVERSAL SPACE LINK’ ) to COMET TEMPLE ONE.

Subsequently, WATER / ICE of the TOP of the 8 HIGHEST MOUNTAINS, the CENTRE of the 3 OCEANS and the NORTH and the SOUTH POLE will be integrated in 5 monumental CRYSTAL SPACE LINKS. These CRYSTAL SPACE LINKS will be handed over to the historic-o-cultural sites of GIZEH, TEOTIHUACAN, ULURU, FUJIYAMA and ACROPOLIS as the materialization of our hope that, one day, our PLANET ‘EARTH’ may return to its original 'CRYSTAL - CLEAR' condition.
